found a groove late in the game and ground out a 27-24 overtime victory

  <title><![CDATA[Camiliere directs explosive Kaneland offense]]></title>

  <description><![CDATA[It was a simple call, one suited perfectly for the beginning of the first game of a new season. Kaneland quarterback Joe Camiliere flicked a pass to Brock Dyer as he slipped out of the backfield behind a wall of lineman. It was a simple screen, but 54 yards later Dyer was in the end zone, less than five minutes into Kaneland's 35-0 victory over Burlington Central. The effort set up a now-typical offensive explosion for the Knights -- 411 yards of total offense and five touchdowns. Behind the hot start was Camiliere, a junior beginning his second full season as a varsity quarterback.<br>]]></description>
