Jack Fischer pitched a one-hitter and started a bizarre game-ending triple play as St. Ignatius edged the hosts 1-0 Saturday to win the Class 4A Fenwick Regional.

Fenwick 10, Kelly 0: George Kinsella pitched a one-hitter with eight strikeouts and two walks, leading the Friars (21-11) into the title game of their own Class 4A regional. Gino Rooney was 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI for Fenwick, while Mike Loni and Kevin Sweeney both drove in two runs.

Brother Rice 6, Fenwick 1: The top-ranked Crusaders (23-0, 10-0 Catholic League Blue) remained undefeated behind Kevin Koziol (5-0), who threw a complete game, surrendered six hits, struck out eight and also had a homer and three RBI. Ryan Koziol also went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Brother Rice.
