A Curie High football player who collapsed during Friday night's varsity football game in Bolingbrook died from mucus plugging airways in the lungs, according to preliminary autopsy results. Quaashi A. Chandler, 18, a Curie Metropolitan High School senior, collapsed on the sidelines during Friday night's game against Bolingbrook. Chandler, of Chicago, had a history of bronchial asthma and died of focal mucus plugging, according to a preliminary autopsy conducted Saturday.
