Glenbrook South�s Chapman had nine kills in the first game and none in the second Saturday against Lake Zurich in the Class 4A supersectional in Libertyville. But the Titans did not need their 6-foot-4 junior star in Game 2, using their defense and strong serving to defeat the Bears 25-16, 25-15 and earn a berth in Friday�s semifinals in Bloomington.

Joliet Catholic punches ticket to Bloomington

The Joliet Catholic volleyball team will be running a mile Monday, but at least it will be taking a bus for the 90-mile trip to Bloomington later in the week.
