DePaul
Macari Brooks- Tuesday against Thornwood, the Rich South guard netted 22 points in a win. But he was contained Friday night in a loss to Bloom, where he netted 12 points in 4 of 15 shooting.
Jamee Crockett- Crete-Monee picked up a pair of wins this week behind the guard's strong play. On Tuesday Crockett finished with 22 points in a victory over Rich East. He followed that up Friday with a 21-point game in a win over Rich Central.
Illinois
Tracy Abrams- Abrams continued his strong play of late with 24 points, including 13 in the second quarter, in a Mount Carmel win over Leo Friday night.
Nnanna Egwu- St. Ignatius continues to be powered by Egwu's efforts. On Friday the Wolfpack edged out Loyola in overtime behind the bigman's 16 points and 12 boards.
Mike Shaw- The De La Salle forward netted 10 points in a big win over Hales Friday night.
Illinois State
Johnny Hill- The Glenbard East guard recorded 23 points including 11 in the third quarter in a victory over Naperville North Friday night. On Saturday he kept the Rams' unbeaten conference streak intact with a 20-point showing vs. West Aurora.
Nick Zeisloft- Lyons continues to rack up wins behind the efforts of Zeisloft. On Tuesday he netted 25 points including five threes while downing Hinsdale South in the process. On Friday the Lions eked out an overtime win over Hinsdale Central, where the ISU recruit went off for 30 points. Saturday at the City/Suburban Shootout Lyons earned its third win of the week vs. Proviso East. Zeisloft had 11 points.
Northwestern
David Sobolewski- Benet took down previous No. 1 Simeon Saturday at UIC. The future Wildcat guard recorded 15 points and five assists running the floor for the now-No. 1 Redwings.
Mike Turner- Turner led U-High to a 'W' Saturday night over Vocational with a 21-point, eight-rebound showing.
UIC
Jerome Brown- Morgan Park captured a nonconference win over Harper Wednesday night as Brown totaled 19 points. Saturday Brown and the Mustangs' guard play impressed again with a win over highly-touted Rock Island.
Greg Travis- Travis totaled 13 points in a loss over Brooks in the semifinal of Public League Playoffs Wednesday night.
