Peter Marshall fired a two-under-par 70 to lead the hosts to the title of the Lake Forest Invitational boys golf tourney Saturday at Lake Bluff Golf Club.
The Scouts shot a 296 to beat runner-up Carmel by 12 shots. Zion-Benton (317) and Loyola (322) finished 3-4. Jack Watson of Carmel shot a 70 to share medalist honors with Marshall.
GIRLS TENNIS
Lakes Quad: Mundelein had titles from Hanne MacDonald (first singles), Ali MacDonald (second singles) and the No. 1 doubles team of Paige Pariola and Karlie Alms in capturing the Lakes Quad title. The Mustangs beat runner-up Lakes 12-9.
