RED-BLUE PUBLIC LEAGUE PLAYOFFS

Ag. Science 44, Hope 38: Despite missing two starters, the Cyclones (12-9) upset the Eagles behind Imri Adams' 12 points. Roy Barnes added six points.

Brooks 90, Chicago Richards 66: William Gates scored 26 points to lead the defending Public League city champion Eagles (8-16). Center Dwight Cunningham posted a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore guard Erick Locke added 17 points and 11 assists. Senior guard Xavier Wells scored 17 points.

Carver 61, Northside 30: The Challengers' star Michael Howell recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds for Carver (6-16).

Collins 88, Little Village 49: LeRoy Cox exploded for 38 points and added 11 rebounds to lead the Cobras (11-11).

Fenger 70, Steinmetz 53: Joshua Cephus scored 26 points and Tony Parker contributed 18 points for the Titans (17-9).

Mather 51, Clemente 46: Vidal Bennett scored 18 points and Blake Wolfe contributed 15 points as the Rangers (4-16) edged the Wilcats.

Raby 89, Clark 84: Anthony Knowles scored 34 points and hauled in 14 rebounds to power the Raiders (10-17). Terry McDonald made seven three-pointers in adding 26 points. Jeremy Burks posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists.

TEAM Englewood 64, Lake View 54: Jonathan Owens recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds for TEAM Englewood (18-4). Senior point guard Johnny Roland contributed 10 points and 10 assists.

Urban Prep-Englewood 61, Roosevelt 39: Steven McAfee recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and grabbing 10 rebounds for Urban-Prep Englewood (6-13).

Chicagoland Jewish 85, Christ King 70: Avidan Halivni exploded for 26 points to lead the Tigers (4-10, 3-4 Chicago Prep).

Douglass 70, Schurz 65: In nonconference action, William Heard paced four double-figure scorers with 22 points. Richard Guthrie contributed 17 points and Lavantae Mitchell and Tyler Crittleton scored 12 points apiece. Mitchell also recorded 12 rebounds.

Eisenhower 72, Shepard 58: Nick Curta scored 20 points to power the Cardinals (9-18, 4-7 South Suburban Red). Tyrone Terrell contributed 13 points and Olajuwon Prude added 12 points
