Girls volleyball: Aurora Central Catholic will enter the first year of the new Suburban
Christian Conference with a new coach for girls volleyball, as the
Chargers tabbed Jeanne Czipri to lead the program.
Lyndsay Kooi and Brea Rivera have enjoyed a lot of different experiences during their volleyball careers. On Wednesday, the two seniors from Minooka got the chance
to savor some of those moments during a special ceremony at their

St. Edward got 12 kills and eight digs from Kristen Haggenjos, 10 kills
and eight assists from Katie Yohn and 11 assists from Rachel Varley to
beat Princeton 25-22, 26-24 Saturday in the Class 2A third-place game.
Emily McGee of Naperville Central and Jessica Jendryk of Benet, 2007 second-team selections, and Player of the Year Desiree Aramburu of Mother McAuley head the 2008 Sun-Times All-Area girls volleyball team.
