Veteran club coach James Garcia has been named girls volleyball coach at Chicago Christian, the school announced on Tuesday.
Garcia has been a club coach for 10 seasons, most recently with Chicago Ultimate Volleyball Club. He's a Navy veteran of the first Gulf War and works as a systems administrator for Advocate Health Care.
The Knights finished 35-5 last season and took fourth in the Class A state tournament under former coach Leah Bruskewitz.
