St. Ignatius’ state run came to an end Friday in a 1-0 loss to Normal West in the Class AA quarterfinals at North Central College in Naperville.
Kayla Braffet’s 20th goal of the season midway through the first half was the difference for the Wildcats (27-0), who lost to Waubonsie Valley in last year's quarterfinals.
The Wolfpack finished with an impressive 26-2-1 record.
