Karisma Chapman and Jeanise Randolph both scored 13 points for No. 5 T.F. North, as the host Meteors beat Homewood-Flossmoor 53-31 Tuesday in Calumet City.
T.F. North (5-0) jumped out to a 17-4 lead after the first quarter and then had a 33-12 advantage at halftime. But Chapman still thought the Meteors could have played better.
“H-F is a pretty good team, but we didn’t play up to our potential,” Chapman said. “We have to be ready to go and in the last quarter we had [problems] with our defense and we turned the ball over too much.”
Andriana Mickens came off the bench for H-F (3-3) and scored 12 points.
