Knights' Cronin prevails in quarterfinals vote

Immaculate Conception quarterback Will Cronin was voted the top player of the state quarterfinals by YourSeason.com readers. Cronin beat out Antioch standout running back Cameron White, who finished second.

Cronin was 4-of-8 passing for 137 yards and one touchdown, and ran 13 times for 91 yards and two scores in a 41-8 win over Bureau Valley in the Class 2A quarterfinals. With the victory, Immaculate Conception earned its first semifinal berth since its 2002 state championship run.
