Junior standouts Mike Williams and LaSteven McKinney sparked Nazareth to a 42-13 East Suburban Catholic win Saturday over visiting Marian Catholic.

McKinney ran for 169 yards on 13 carries and had touchdown runs of 19, 61 and 50 yards. Williams tallied three sacks and added 67 rushing yards and a touchdown of his own.

“I was so excited,” Williams said. “I wanted that touchdown, it was my first of the season.”

Nazareth (5-1, 3-1) committed three turnovers in the first half but still led 14-0. Quarterback Adam Marske added a 22-yard touchdown pass to tight end Johnny Nelson.

Marian Catholic (1-5, 1-3) scored on a 15-yard pass from Joey Walker to Armando Lopez to make the score 14-6, with 11:38 left in the third quarter.

The Spartans stopped Nazareth on its next possession, but Williams recovered a fumble and returned it to the Marian 19-yard line. After that it was Nazareth.

Ag. Science 39, Kennedy 6: Richard Price (13 carries, 110 yards) scored five touchdowns to lead Ag. Science (5-1, 2-1) to a Public League Chicago Great Lakes victory. Price scored on runs of 13, 4, 10 and 14 yards. He also returned an interception 40 yards for a touchdown.

Aurora Christian 46, Luther South 6: Matt Morris had touchdown catches of 1, 50, 22 and 20 yards as Aurora Christian (6-0, 4-0) rolled past the host Braves (1-5, 0-4) in the Private School League.

Chicago Christian 58, Luther North 0: Jason Vander Laan ran for two touchdowns and threw for two more to lead Chicago Christian (5-1, 3-1 Private School League) to an easy win. Vander Laan threw two touchdown passes to Andy Stuursma.

Corliss 22, Marshall 20: Corliss (1-5) was led by William Ewing, who ran for two touchdowns.

Douglass 20, Chicago Academy 8: Douglass (5-1, 4-1 Small Schools North) was sparked by Lashaean Givens who had 180 yards rushing, two touchdowns and 15 tackles on defense.

Du Sable 50, Noble Street 0: Jamari Sanford was 16-of-24 passing for 300 yards and three touchdowns for Du Sable (6-0). Kiere Drake had 200 yards receiving and three touchdowns.

Eisenhower 17, Reavis 7: Josh Rodriguez threw touchdown passes of 32 and 46 yards to David Okeke. Erik Gomez tacked on a 32-yard field goal for the Cardinals (3-3, 1-1 South Suburban Red).

Hope Academy 35, Mooseheart 6: Earl Arnold had 11 carries for 133 yards and three touchdowns for Hope Academy (6-0). Terrance Wright added 60-yard touchdown run.

Lyons 41, Proviso West 12: Lyons (2-4, 2-2 West Suburban Silver) was powered by quarterback Ryan Mitchell's touchdown runs of 30 and 15 yards.

Running back Deonte Brown added scoring runs of 30 and 44 yards, while Nicholas Brown also had two touchdown runs.

Theodis Sloan tossed touchdown passes of 23 and 67 yards to Kyle Prater for Proviso West.

Oak Park 37, Morton 7: Quarterback Elliot Davidson totaled 266 yards (103 rushing, 163 passing) and two touchdowns, one through the air and one on the ground for Oak Park (2-4).

Walter Lutheran 69, Lake Forest Academy 28: Walter Lutheran (5-1, 4-0 Private School League) was led by Brandon Sims (18 carries, 252 yards, five touchdowns). David Tuomi completed 9 of 15 passed for 145 yards and three touchdowns.
