Bolingbrook quarterback Brad Geever had the game of his life, scoring two touchdowns to help rally the No. 9 Raiders 29-21 past visiting No. 19 Morgan Park 29-21 Friday night.
Geever scored on a 20-yard touchdown run with 6:51 to play to account for the final score, and the Raiders (3-0) forced six turnovers by Morgan Park (1-2).
"This was by far my best game," Geever said. "We knew if we went out and played your game we could beat them. Our defense came up huge with those turnovers."
Morgan Park turned the ball over four times inside the red zone. Leading 15-6, they turned the ball over twice inside the 10 in the second quarter, the second of which led to a 92-yard touchdowm scamper by Geever to make it 15-13.
Bolingbrook led 19-15 at halftime, but Morgan Park regained the lead on a 60-yard punt return by Dominique Bell with 46 seconds to play in the third. Following a Morgan Park turnover, the Raiders took the lead for good on a 24-yard field goal by Nick Knutson with 8:32 to play.
Geever finished with 15 carries for 151 yards. Bell had three touchdowns for Morgan Park.
