Wheaton Warrenville South became the first boys volleyball team to win three consecutive state titles, beating Maine South 25-23, 25-14 Saturday in the final at Hoffman Estates.
Bob St. Leger, who graduated from Sandburg in 2000 and helped the Eagles
earn state titles in his junior and senior seasons, now is the head
coach at Marist and will make his state quarterfinals coaching debut
Friday.

In Game 1 Tuesday against a scrappy Glenbard West, Wilson came off the bench and put down five kills and a block to spark the Huskies (20-16) to a 25-23 win.
