Host Maine South will meet Loyola on Tuesday in a sectional final after the Hawks defeated Prospect 23-25, 25-17, 25-15 on Friday.
Eric Butch had 13 kills, Evan Bowler added seven kills and Mike Hejza had 31 assists to lead Maine South (32-6).
In the other semifinal, Loyola rallied for a 23-25, 25-15, 25-22 victory over New Trier.
Reis Foster had 17 kills, Pat Barry added eight kills and Elias Aparcedo had 30 assists to lead the Ramblers (33-5).
“We knew it was going to be close,” Loyola coach Lionel Ebeling said. “It’s always a great rivalry. We wanted to make sure we didn’t have any unforced errors.”
