Tuesday's boys volleyball roundup

Andrew d. Illiana Christian 25-13, 25-12: Blaise Bernard recorded 12 digs and five kills to go along with Dan Aspan's 15 assists and five kills to lead the Thunderbolts.

Conant d. St. Charles East 25-17, 25-15: Conant (24-11) took the South Elgin Regional semifinal from efforts from Peter Lauterbach (10 kills, eight digs, ace).

Fenwick d. Schurz 25-16, 25-13: Nate Holterman recorded seven kills while Phil Gough added six for the Friars. Dave Suwada and Stephen Mizera each had five at the St. Patrick Regional semifinal.

Glenbard East d. Willowbrook 25-19, 25-16: Tim Lovik powered Glenbard East (34-2) with eight kills and four blocks.

Lincoln-Way Central d. Lincoln-Way North 25-10, 25-18: Lincoln-Way Central (25-11) the Marian Catholic Regional Semifinal with a strong performance from Kyle Overby (12 kills), James Cummins (eight blocks) and Connor Wexter (21 assists).

Loyola d. Niles North 25-13, 25-22: Patrick Barry recorded seven kills while Elias Aparcedo dished out 22 assists and served three aces.

Marist d. Homewood-Flossmoor 25-9, 25-16: Marist improved to 31-5 behind Joe Smalzer's six kills and Garrett Dempsey six digs and 17 assists.

Oswego d. Oswego East 25-19, 25-21: Jake Wollenberg led the Panthers with 11 digs, nine kills, three blocks and an ace to defeat cross-town rival Oswego East in a West Aurora Regional semifinal.

Riverside-Brookfield d. St. Laurence 25-21, 25-15: Riverside-Brookfield (15-20) took a Morton Regional semifinal win behind Ben Stieszak's six kills and three blocks. Elliott Lauthen passed out 15 assists.

St. Ignatius d. Jones 25-14, 25-17: Nick Gastevich had three kills and three blocks to lead the Wolfpack (28-7) to a Lincoln Park Regional semifinal win.

Stevenson d. St. Viator 25-18, 15-12: Brad Feiger had 12 kills and 10 blocks to lead Stevenson in their regional semifinal. Jay Meisner had 15 digs while Brian Czosek had 28 assists.

WW South d. Proviso West 25-16, 25-11: Kevin Mueller (13 kills, three digs), Neill Nystrom (six, three digs) and Joe Kelly (30 assists) lead the Tigers to a regional semifinal win.
