Mount Carmel 54, Lane 36: Adonis Filer scored 19 points as No. 3 Mount Carmel cruised to a win at Lane over the host Indians. Jon Gac added eight points and 11 rebounds for the Caravan (1-0).

Glenbrook North 50, Lake Forest 47: Notre Dame-bound Alex Dragicevich finished with 30 points to lead No. 7 Glenbrook North past Lake Forest. Austin Weber had 11 in the win while Mitch Hopfinger netted 31 points in a losing effort.

Crete-Monee 53, Oak Forest 45: Ray Lester scored 15 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the No. 17 Warriors over Oak Forest at the Andrew tournament. Freshman Marvie Keith scored 13 points, while Kentrell King (10 points) and James Crockett (nine points) also chipped in for Crete-Monee (1-0).

Rich South 74, Vocational 63: Macari Brooks finished with 18 as the Stars upset No. 15 Vocational.

Hales 82, Proviso West 70: Hales junior Dominique Wells scored 28 points and grabed 12 rebounds to lead the No. 19 Spartans.

Hales’ Jamie Adams drained four three-pointers and finished with 16 points. Patrick Miller scored 14 and Aaron Armstead added 13 for the Spartans.

Paul Howard, a 6-7 wide-bodied senior, led Proviso West with 18 points and nine rebounds and Ryan Woods added 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Morgan Park 70, Uplift 58: Wayne Blackshear lit up the scoreboard with 37 points and 13 rebounds as the No. 22 Mustangs rolled.

Zion-Benton 72, Taft 40: Paul Williams (18 points) and Owen Worthington (16 points) sparked No. 23 Zion-Benton to a victory against Taft.

Leo 66, Shepard 54: Eastern Illinois-bound guard Isaac Smith scored 23 points and teammate Malcolm McFarland added 13 as the No. 24 Lions cruised at Richards.

Ag. Science 60, Chicago Math and Science 23: Shaquon Alexander finished with 34 points for Ag. Science.

Austin 45, Amundsen 32: Austin (1-0) was led by Devon Williams (16 points, eight rebounds) and Desmond Bryant (13 points, nine rebounds) at Clemente.

Glenbard North 82, Glenbard West 59: Reggie Davis finished with 23 including 13 fourth-quarter points as Glenbard North topped Glenbard West. James Flemming added 17 in the winning effort.

Kelly 64, Rowe-Clark 27: Kelly's Cass McClung netted 13 points and seven rebounds while Devante Smith had eight points, nine rebounds and three steals.

Kenwood 78, Payton 46: Turean Conner recorded a double-double (21 points, 14 rebounds) for Kenwood. Justin Bouier finished with 17 points and five steals in the win.

Mather 53, Prosser 45: At the Clemente tournament, Kyle Gordon (13 points), Bonji Osinake (12 points) and Eddie Seda (nine points) led Mather (1-0) in scoring.

Morris 51, Yorkville 44: Kevin Henry netted 20 points while Kjelde Torkelson added 13 in the win for Morris (1-0) at Sandwich.

Rauner 36, Noble Street 23: Adrian Rodriguez scored 12 points while Jose Cartagena finished with seven for the Rauner win at Noble Street.

Richards 86, Marist 70: Randall Rushing and Dean Danos both netted 14 points for the Bulldogs. Adonis Bailey finished with eight points at the Richards tournament.

St. Rita 72, Ace Tech 46: Lane Barlow had 23 points to lead St. Rita past Ace Tech. Luke Barry also had nine points.

St. Francis 60, Chicago Christian 42: Alex Vasquez finished the night with 16 points and eight rebounds while Damon Goodloe had 11 points and nine rebounds for the Spartans. Joseph Pearson scored 11 in the win.

St. Laurence 54, Morgan Park Academy 40: Darius Parker led scorers with 15 points.

Tinley Park 52, Willowbrook 48: The Titans edged out Willowbrook behind 24 points from Gerald Dorsey.

Washington 44, Douglass 43: Rashad Ali grabbed 13 boards to go along with his seven points and three blocks as Washington edged Douglass. Carl Golston found the score sheet with 12 points.
