No. 10 Hyde Park cruised to an easy 95-50 win over Dyett on Monday in a nonconference game. The Thunderbirds were led by Malcolm Griffin (20 points, 10 assists), Martell Jackson (15 points, 10 steals) and Jerome Moore (14 points, 10 rebounds).

Fabyon Harris added 10 points, five assists and five steals while teammate Anthony Dixon scored eight points and grabbed 20 rebounds for Hyde Park (1-0).

Austin Tourney

Austin 53, Rauner 39: Todd Hicks had 14 points and Nico O'Neil had nine points and seven rebounds for Tigers (2-0).

Battle at the Ridge

Evergreen Park 69, Westmont 61: Darius Welch scored 15 points for the Mustangs (2-0).

Maine East 67, Vernon Hills 44: The Blue Demons were led by Shreq Khan's 20 points and Charles McKinney's 19 points.

Ridgewood 49, Guerin 47: Peter Stepkowski led the Rebels with 20 points and 12 rebounds. 

Chicago Heights Classic

Hillcrest 66, Bowen 37: No. 22 Hillcrest improved to 2-0 behind Eric Gaines 24 points and seven steals. Travis Scott added 12 points and 11 rebounds while teammate Herbert Offord scored 11 points for the Hawks.

Bolingbrook 78, Peoria Central 68: Diamond Taylor had 29 points and Troy Snyder had 25 for the No. 12 Red Raiders (1-0).

Elmwood Park Tourney

Northtown 48, Elmwood Park 46: Isiah Vargas had 20 points for Northtown.

Parker 59, St. Gregory 51: Parker (1-1) was led by Ryan Saltzman's 23 points.

Kelvyn Park 59, Hancock 31: Carlos Medina scored 17 points and Napoleon Savignon added 13 for the Panthers (2-0).

Crete-Monee 55, Oak Forest 32: The No. 23 Warriors (2-0) were victorious behind 18 points from Josh Humphrey and 14 points from James Crockett.

Chicago Christian 73, Kelly 36: Chicago Christian was led by Andy Stuursma's 25 points.

Reavis 64, Kennedy 44: The Rams cruised to an easy victory behind Richard Thomas' 29 points.

St. Benedict 71, Roosevelt 39: Jonathan Patino had 31 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds to pace the Bengals. 

St. Charles East Tourney

St. Joseph 66, Prospect 63, 2OT: No. 24 St. Joseph (1-0) was led by Mantas Dubauskas and Brandon Carr who each netted 17 points. Wayne Simon added 14 for the Chargers.

Uplift Tourney

Urban Prep 97, Perspectives 65: Marcus Bass scored 18 points for Urban Prep.
