Mike McQuillan was 3-for-3 with a homer and two RBI as No. 10 Brother Rice got past No. 20 St. Laurence 9-8 Monday in Catholic League crossover action.

John Zawaski (3-1) got the win for the Crusaders (21-6) and Doug Schumacher went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

St. Rita 10, Bishop McNamara 2: Tony Zych belted a two-run home run and a solo shot as No. 7 St. Rita (24-5) won the Catholic League crossover on the road. Ken Stoklosa and Marc Ulloa both added two-run singles for the Mustangs in support of winning pitcher Eric Panick (1-0).

St. Ignatius 10, Hales Franciscan 0: Matt Scanlon (2-1) was the winning pitcher for No. 19 St. Ignatius (17-8) in the Catholic League crossover game.

Ag. Science 15, Longwood 1: Alejandras DeJesus was 2-for-3 with five RBI in sparking Ag Science (16-7, 10-2) to the Public League Minnie Minoso victory at Genoa Park. Byron Caples (3-1) allowed four hits and struck out nine in going the distance in the five-inning contest.

Andrew 9, Plainfield South 4: Will Morgan scored twice and Will Scott contributed an RBI as Andrew (15-9) posted the nonconference win in Tinley Park. Nick Szynal pitched a complete game for the Thunderbolts.

Antioch 5, Grant 2: Ken Karagiorgas was 3-for-4 with a double, triple and RBI as the Sequoits (11-9, 9-1) won in the North Suburban Prairie. Winning pitcher Jim Fracek was 2-for-4 with a double.

Bolingbrook 5, Richards 4: Matt Ulman was 3-for-4 with an RBI to help the Raiders (8-18) earn the nonconference win. 

Bremen 11, Rich East 7: Bremen (10-11) posted the nonconference win in Park Forest as Kevin Grant and Rocco Both each went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

De La Salle 13, Seton 3: Mark Kasper was 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBI to lead the Meteors (6-13) to the Catholic League crossover win. Brian Joyce (2-1) allowed three runs over six innings.

Fremd 7, Schaumburg 3: Jason Ford went the distance, striking out three and walking two, as the Vikings (12-6, 7-5) won in the Mid-Suburban West. He also homered, while teammate Brian Shober was 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBI.

Genoa-Kingston 3, Harvard 2: Adam Lucca hit a solo homer and finished with two RBI to help the Cogs earn a Big Northern crossover win. 

Hampshire 5, IMSA 4: The Whip-Purs (11-9) rallied from a 4-0 deficit, scoring five times in the seventh to earn the nonconference win. Winning pitcher Bo Price was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Homewood-Flossmoor 10, Lincoln-Way Central 9: Alex Eddie's single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh scored Sam Lewis with the winning run for host Homewood-Flossmoor (13-10, 2-6) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. The Vikings also received solid efforts from Aaron Rohde (2-for-2, HR, three RBI) and Bobby Rohde (2-for-2, two RBI).

Illinois Lutheran 15, Rich South 6: Scott Smith was 3-for-4 with four runs and four RBI as Illinois Lutheran captured the nonconference win in Richton Park. David Nelson scored two runs for Rich South (3-15).

Jones 12, Kenwood 4: Dennis Delarosa was 3-for-4 with four RBI to lead the Eagles (17-4, 9-4) to the Public League Jackie Robinson South victory. Luis Montoya went the distance for the win, striking out six.

Lake View 10, Mather 7: Nick Haderlein was 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI to lead the Wildcats (13-8, 11-2) to the Public League Jackie Robinson North win. 

Lake Zurich 11, Warren 4: Joe DeBernardis hit his 10th home run of the season, a two-run shot in the first, and Brock Simon (3-0) pitched two-hit ball over five innings as the Bears (19-5, 8-2) won in the North Suburban Lake. 

Maine South 4, Lane 1: Brian O'Toole went 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI as the Hawks (6-10-1) won in nonconference action. 

Marmion 22, Immaculate Conception 3: Will Sterne went 4-for-4 with four runs scored and five RBI as the Cadets (9-8, 7-3) cruised in the Suburban Catholic. Matt Milroy (7-2) got the win. 

Naperville Central 7, West Aurora 4: John Holm was 3-for-4 with a double, triple and three RBI as the Redhawks (14-7, 9-5) won in the DuPage Valley. Marc Mantucca got the win.

D.J. Smith had a two-run single for West Aurora. 

Providence 26, Leo 0: Dan Cox drove in six runs for visiting Providence (13-12-1) in the Catholic League crossover. Bill Turner went the distance in the five-inning game, scattering two hits and striking out three.

Reed-Custer 7, Manteno 1: Andrew Molloy was 4-for-4 with two doubles, a homer and two RBI as the Comets (15-12, 9-5) won in the Interstate Eight South.

St. Benedict 7, Northtown 4: Zach Johnson singled and tripled to lead the Bengals (2-7) past the Pumas. 

St. Charles East 10, Lake Park 7: Mikke Hoscheit was 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI as the Saints (11-11, 10-6) won in the Upstate Eight. 

St. Edward 17, St. Francis 14: T.J. Madzy was 4-for-6 and scored three runs to lead the Green Wave (6-10, 4-7) to the Suburban Catholic win.

Jordan Torres and Julian Ramirez both added three hits and four RBI for St. Edward. 

Sandwich 21, Westmont 4: Tim Brann was 3-for-3 with a homer, two runs scored and five RBI as the Indians (13-11, 6-7) rolled in the Interstate Eight North. 

Stagg 6, Joliet 5: Kevin Farnan's two-run single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh enabled Stagg (14-10, 3-6) to win the SouthWest Suburban Blue contest in Palos Hills. Will Revethis added two doubles and two runs for the Chargers, while Justin Ringo had a solo homer.

Steinmetz 16, Taft 9: Kenneth Gillespie hit a grand slam and winning pitcher Steven Otero (4-1) was 3-for-4 with four RBI to help the Silver Streaks improve to 13-8. 

Shepard 9, T.F. North 2: Brendan Stonberg worked five innings, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out eight to earn the win for host Shepard (13-11).

Streamwood 7, St. Charles North 4: Brian Brauer's three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth broke a 4-4 tie and lifted the Sabres (8-17, 6-10) past the North Stars (14-8, 10-5) in the completion of a suspended Upstate Eight game.

Matt Cohen hit a two-run homer and scored twice for Steamwood, while Jason Overton added two RBI. 

Tinley Park 16, Thornton 3: Mitch Stevens collected two hits and three RBI as Tinley Park (11-7) posted the five-inning nonconference victory in Harvey. Tony Nelin chipped in two hits and two RBI for the Titans.
