TJ Bujanski pitched a four-hitter to lead Brother Rice past Warren 7-0 Wednesday in pool play of the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association summer state tournament at North Central College.

Bujanski (5-0) walked two and fanned six for the Crusaders, who are 28-3 overall and 2-0 in pool play. They'll face Elk Grove Thursday at 11 a.m. at Benedictine University.

Rice broke the game open with a five-run third inning, Bobby Schuch put the Crusaders ahead with a run-scoring single before Brian Baldwin had a two-run single. Bujanski and Kevin Koehler also drove in runs in the rally.

Warren fell to 20-3 overall and 0-2 in pool play. 

Prairie Ridge 10, Elk Grove 5: Kevin Pfaller's two-run double keyed a four-run sixth as the Wolves (18-6, 1-1 pool play) downed the Grenadiers (17-12, 1-1) at North Central.

Brett Loeding was the winner in relief for Prairie Ridge, fanning two in 2 1/3 innings. The Wolves play Warren at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Benedictine University. 

Don Duschinsky slugged a bases-loaded triple for Elk Grove, which plays Brother Rice at 11 a.m. Thursday at Benedictine.
