Tim Barry slugged two grand slams and finished with 10 RBI, leading Oak Forest past Brother Rice 12-8 Tuesday in South Suburban Summer League North Division action.

The Bengals took advantage of 12 walks.

Tom Mann pitched 4 2/3 innings of shutout relief for Rice (17-2), which had a nine-game winning streak snapped with the loss.

The Crusaders play at Sandburg at 10 a.m. today in a rematch of a Class 4A sectional championship from this spring. The Eagles won that game 4-2.

Andrew 12, Lincoln-Way North 5: Steve Litko slugged a homer to help Andrew down Lincoln-Way North in South Suburban Summer League South Division action.

Up 5-4, the Thunderbolts broke the game open with a five-run fifth inning.

A.J. Neufeld was 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI for North (9-2), which had an eight-game winning streak snapped with the loss.
