Boys Track: Lake Park claims third straight championship; Dunbar wins three titles
Lake Park became the first big school to win three consecutive titles since Thornwood’s four-peat from 2001-04, beating Edwardsville 48-42. Dunbar also had a big day as Darvell Harris anchored the Mighty Men to victories in the 400- and 800-meter relays and then put an exclamation point on his day by taking first in the 200.

Boys Track: Kelvyn Park finishes 1-2 in the Class 2A 200; Leo wins back-to-back 1A titles
Kelvyn Park’s Jamal McNeeley won the 200 meters in 22.00 seconds, and his teammate, Brian Carter, ran 22.328 to edge Jacksonville’s James Jackson by .001 Saturday at Eastern Illinois University’s O’Brien Stadium. Leo captured its second straight Class 1A title, edging Newton 35-34.

Boys Tennis: Hinsdale Central wins record 21st title; Jason Brown captures singles crown
Hinsdale Central finished with 50 points to win the state championship — its 21st overall — over runner-up New Trier (36) on Saturday at Hersey, while Deerfield’s Jason Brown dominated his semifinal and final matches to capture the singles title.
